You will own the ledger service end to end: the double-entry core, the reconciliation jobs, and the APIs the rest of the company builds on.
What you will do
- Design and ship changes to the ledger and settlement pipeline
- Own reliability for a service that moves real money
- Work with compliance on audit and reporting requirements
What we look for
- Several years building backend services in production
- Comfort with Postgres beyond the basics: transactions, isolation levels, query plans
- Care about correctness in systems where mistakes are expensive
