Using this site
You may browse and apply for jobs, and post jobs, provided you are legally able to enter a contract and you follow these terms.
One account per person. Do not share credentials.
For employers posting jobs
You are responsible for what your posting says. By publishing you confirm that:
- the posting describes a real role you are able to fill, or clearly states that it does not
- you have the authority to advertise on behalf of the company named
- the posting does not discriminate on a ground protected by the applicable human rights legislation
- the information you provide about compensation, AI screening and vacancy status is accurate
Our compliance check is a service, not a warranty. We evaluate your posting against our reading of Ontario's job posting requirements and show the result. It is not legal advice, it does not cover every province, and passing it is not a defence. You remain responsible for your own compliance.
We may remove a posting that is fraudulent, discriminatory, an advance-fee scheme, or not a genuine employment opportunity.
For job seekers
Information you put in your profile should be accurate. Applying with a fabricated identity or someone else's credentials is not permitted.
We do not guarantee that any employer will respond to you, and we are not party to your employment relationship with them.
Listings collected from public sources
Some listings are collected from companies' public careers pages via the APIs their applicant tracking systems publish. Those listings link to the original and are labelled. We are not the employer and cannot answer questions about them.
If you are a company and you would rather not appear here, email hello@hirea.ca and we will remove you.
Content you provide
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us the licence needed to host it, display it where the product calls for it, and back it up.
Do not upload anything unlawful, malicious, or that you do not have the right to share.
Availability
The service is provided as-is. We run it on infrastructure we do not control and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, to the extent the law permits that limitation.
Changes and termination
We may change these terms; material changes will be dated above. We may suspend an account that breaches them.
You can close your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
